Headquartered in Denver, Tillman Clark has been exclusively dedicated to criminal defense practice for his entire career. For over a decade, Tillman has zealously and passionately worked in almost every area of criminal defense.

After graduating from law school in New York City, he moved to Colorado Springs to be part of one of the best public defenders systems in the county — and to work trials. After two years living abroad, working as a contract defense attorney for indigent criminal defendants on a pacific ocean island, Tillman returned to Colorado and worked as a trial attorney in Adams County. He has taken all manner of cases to trial, from homicides and domestic violence to DUIs and public corruption.

Tillman founded this firm with a singular focus: To help people who have been convicted but refuse to give up hope. Too often people caught in the criminal justice system don’t know all their options once their case is “closed” by a judge. But that word — “guilty” — isn't the end of your story, and justice doesn't stop when the gavel falls. Since founding the firm in 2021, Tillman has successfully challenged convictions through appeals and postconviction proceedings. He has exonerated clients who were found guilty at trial, cut decades off prison of sentences, and argued multiple cases in front of the Colorado Supreme Court. He focuses on careful investigation, precise legal research and writing, and an unwavering dedication to finding the overlooked details that can turn a case around. His experience as a trial attorney gives him a distinct advantage in appellate and postconviction work, and he knows exactly where to look for the errors and oversights that could make the difference in your case.
